uDSP Report Builder. Your Tool from Media Planning to Campaign Analysis

July 31, 2026
The uDSP Report Builder is an analytical tool within the uDSP advertising platform. It helps media buyers, marketers and AdOps managers evaluate brandformance advertising costs, optimize display advertising budgets and make mediaplaning easier. It brings together flexible groupings, filters, key advertising metrics, and options for saving ready-made report views in a single interface.

With the builder, users can not only view general placement statistics, but also analyze a campaign in detail: which devices generate the main volume, which browsers are most common among the audience, how impressions are distributed across regions, which domains or BundleIDs show a high CTR, and where there is potential for further optimization.
Two Main Areas of Work
The uDSP Report Builder provides two key datasets:
  • campaign report
  • available inventory report
The campaign report is used to monitor and analyze advertising placements that have already been launched. It helps track campaign dynamics, compare metrics across different dimensions, and identify patterns in placement performance.

The available inventory report is designed for media planning. It allows users to estimate the potential volume of available impressions based on the required parameters, such as country, region, ad format, device type, or time period.

This approach makes it possible to work with both actual results and projected placement opportunities within the same logic.
Flexible Data Grouping
One of the key features of the builder is the ability to group data by different parameters. The user can select the required dimension and quickly rebuild the report for a specific task.
In the campaign report, data can be grouped by 27 categories, including the following important criteria: campaigns, campaign groups, creatives, hours, days, months, countries, regions, suppliers, domains, placement pages, video traffic formats, creative sizes, browsers, device types, formats, and placement environments.

For example, to understand how a campaign is distributed across devices, the user can select grouping by device type. To evaluate placement geography, the data can be grouped by countries or regions. For creative analysis, the user can view statistics by creative size or by specific creatives.
Metrics for Performance Evaluation
The builder enables campaign analysis using the main performance and delivery metrics. Reports include impressions, clicks, reach, frequency, CTR, cost per click, and total budget spend.

For video advertising, specialized metrics are also available: view rate, impressions, quartile completions, and fill rate. This is especially important for assessing the quality of video contact: users can understand not only how many times an ad was shown, but also how fully it was watched and under what visibility conditions.

This set of metrics helps evaluate a campaign not only by volume, but also by the quality of audience contact.
Filtering by Key and Value
In addition to groupings, the builder includes data filtering. It allows users to focus on specific parameters and exclude unnecessary data from the report.

Filtering is available by key and by value. By key, users can select the required parameter: country, region, format, advertiser, supplier, operating system, browser, device type, video format, domain, page, campaign, campaign group, deal ID, creative ID, application, application link, or user language.
For example, users can select a specific advertising campaign and view its statistics only by region. Or they can filter the data by the Windows operating system and then analyze distribution by browser. This scenario helps provide a deeper understanding of traffic structure and audience behavior within the selected segment.

Filtering by value is useful for finding the most effective placements or parameters. For example, users can group a report by domains and keep only those domains where CTR is above a specified value. Based on this analysis, it becomes easier to create lists of high-engagement placements and use them to optimize future campaigns.
Available Inventory for Media Planning
The available inventory report helps users understand what volumes may potentially be available for future launches.

For example, a user can estimate how much inventory is available per day over a selected period for a specific country, ad format, or device type. This is useful at the campaign planning stage, when it is necessary to understand in advance whether there will be enough volume to fulfill the media plan and which parameters should be included in the placement setup.

This report helps users make decisions before the campaign starts: selecting geography, format, devices, and other parameters not blindly, but based on available data.
Saving Reports, Exporting, and Collaboration
Ready-made reports can be saved as presets in the interface. This is convenient for recurring tasks: for example, if a manager needs to check campaign dynamics every morning for yesterday or for the current day, they can configure the required setup once and then quickly return to it.
Reports can also be exported as Excel files for further data processing, sharing with colleagues, or preparing external reporting.
In addition, a generated report can be shared via a link. A colleague will see the same report, provided they have the appropriate access level in the platform. This simplifies collaboration: there is no need to explain again which groupings, filters, and periods were selected.
Availability on Any Device
The uDSP Report Builder is adapted for use on any device and browser. You can start working on a desktop and continue on a phone or tablet. Working with presets and exports is also available in the mobile version of the uDSP personal account.
Why Businesses Need It
The uDSP Report Builder helps teams move more quickly from raw data to management decisions. Managers can promptly monitor campaign progress, identify strengths and weaknesses in placements, analyze performance across different dimensions, and prepare data for optimization.

As a result, the builder becomes a practical tool for the full cycle: from placement planning to monitoring, analysis, and subsequent optimization of an advertising campaign on any device.
